Appleが、次期iPhoneに同梱されると噂されているUSB Power Delivery 3.0規格に準拠したApple 18W USB-Cアダプタに関して、サプライヤーの情報によると、本体同梱分を製造するだけで工場はフル回転状態となり、単体販売分はしばらく需要を満たせない可能性があると話しています。

製造は、Flextronics、Delta Electronics、Lite-On Technology、Artesynなど複数社となるようです。

また、改良型Lightningチップ「C48B」を使用したサードパーティ製USB-C to Lightningケーブルは、2018年11月か12月頃にMFiリファレンスに追加される可能性があり、2019年以降から発売される可能性があるものの、MFI認定製造工場のうち４社しか認可されない可能性があり、工場の取り合いになる可能性があります。

The supplier said about 18W USB-C adapter compliant to USB Power Delivery 3.0 standard which is said to be packed with next iPhone that the products for selling single piece may not fill the demand for a while since the factory operate at full capacity only to make the products for packing into the body.

Manufacturing will be done by Flextronics, Delta Electronics, Lite-On Technology and Artesyn, etc.

In addition, side-party's USB-C to Lightning cable used improved Lightning chip "C48B" will be possible to be sold after 2019 as it will be possible to add it to MFi reference around November or December 2018.

However, among MFi certified manufacturing plants, there will be only 4 of them can ben approved that makes to compete to take plants.
