Appleが、Apple Watch用バンド用に開発したテキスタイル素材「ウーブンナイロン」ですが、Apple Watch用バンド以外に、iPhoneケース、SmartCover、SmartCaseも開発している可能性があります。

ウーブンナイロンは日本の関西地方にある老舗工場で生産されていますが、Appleの採用情報「テキスタイルエンジニア」によると、勤務地は和歌山市で「Apple Softgoods設計チームの一員として、アクセサリー （iPhoneケース、SmartCover、SmartCase、Apple Watch Band他）において 使用されるテキスタイル素材の開発、設計、評価を行います。」とあり、 Apple Watch Band以外にも開発が行われていることが記載されています。

Apple is developing it for the Apple Watch Band, and has used "Woven Nylon" textile which is manufactured in Japan, and it's possible that it will be developed for the iPhone case, SmartCover, SmartCase etc., apart from the Apple Watch band.

According to Apple's adopted information, the "Textile Engineer", the work place at Wakayama "will carry out the development, design and evaluation of the textile material that will be used in accessories (iPhone case, SmartCover, SmartCase, Apple Watch Band and others) as a member of the design team"and was also mentioned that development is underway for other things apart from the Apple Watch Band.
