Appleが、iOSデバイスのケース設計に関するガイドライン「Apple デバイス用ケースの設計ガイドライン」を更新しています。

ケースデザインガイドライン「Accessory Design Guidelines for Apple Devices R3」が新しくなっています。

新しい注意項目として、Bluetoothに関する注意事項が多く追加されています。

このケースガイドラインは強制ではありませんが、ガイドラインに従っていないケースは、Apple Storeでは取り扱われない可能性があります。

iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (2nd generation)、iPad Pro (10.5-inch)の寸法図が追加されています。

また、Smart Coverを制作する上での寸法やマグネット位置が記載された寸法図も追加されています。

今回から、iOSアプリと、iOS外部アクセサリーを繋ぐ「iPod Accessory Protocol」に関する記述も追加されています。
