2016年12月にiSight Duoカメラを縦に配置した5.8インチモデルの可能性を伝えましたが、その後EVT(Engineer verification test)段階が長く続き、最近になって、ようやくDVT(Design verification test)に進んだようです。

以前、DigiTimesが伝えたように、前面、背面共に2.5Dエッジ仕様の強化ガラス板と真ん中にステンレススチールフレームを使用した新しいデザインを採用しており、露出する側面は、Apple Watchのステンレススチールのように磨きが掛けられているようです。

また、以前、John Gruber氏が、ポッドキャストで予想していたように、ホームボタンは非搭載となり、FaceTimeカメラが液晶面に統合され、全面液晶ディスプレイ化されるようです。

Touch IDもガラス下に統合されていると噂されていますが、それは確認出来ていません。

液晶ディスプレイは有機ELを採用するようですが、Galaxyのような曲面ディスプレイではなく、従来型のフラット液晶ディスプレイのようです。

１四半期の出荷数は７,000万台〜1億台を見込んでいる可能性があります。

iSight Duoカメラを縦に配置することで、本体を横向きにした場合、Emergent VR技術などを応用したVR撮影が出来るのではないかと予想しています。

サイズは、高さ：143.4 mm、幅：70.7 mm、厚さ：7.4 mmとなるようです。

iPhone 5の上下背面に使われているインレイ部品は、ホワイト＆シルバーモデルはセラミックガラス、ブラック＆スレートモデルは着色ガラスが使用されており、その技術を応用したパーツが背面に使用されている可能性があります。

同時に発表されると考えられているiPhone 8・iPhone 8 Plusも手直しされ、少し厚くなる可能性があり、既存のケースを装着することは難しいかもしれません。

Also, as Mr. John Grubet predicted over Podcast in the past, the home button was not incorporated but with an integrated LCD screen with FaceTime camera to make it work as the multiple LCD displays

When the Touch ID is unified under glass, I am talked, but can't confirm it.

The OLED display is adopted as LCD, but it seems that it is not a curved display like the one of Galaxy, but is a conventional flat LCD.

It's possible that the number of goods expected to be up for sale for the first quarter is 70 to 100 million.

If the camera is turned sideways using a vertical arrangement, it's forecasted that wouldn't it be possible to take VR shots using Emergent VR technology.

Size Height 5.64 inch, Width 2.78 inch, Depth 0.29 inch.

The inlay parts used for the upper and lower back of iPhone 5 are the ceramic glasses for white & silver models, and the colored glasses for black & slate models, and the parts where that technology is applied could possibly be used on the back.

Also iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus which is expected to be released at the same time is revised and it would possibly be a little thicker, so it might be difficult to use existing cases for it.
